Jefferson Community Health Center offers a number of job opportunities.  JCHC is one of the largest employers in Jefferson County, and currently employs over 175 people full- and part-time.

Current openings:

*Admissions Clerk -- Admissions department. Part-time, filling in for day and/or evening shifts. Every fourth weekend, and rotating holidays. Requires typing 40 words per minute.

*Dining room assistant -- Dietary department. Two positions, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., one day per week; every other weekend and rotating holidays.

 *Dietary aide -- Dietary department. 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday through Friday.

*CNA-- Gardenside long-term care. PRN (on call.) Requires nurse aide certification.

*Cardiac rehab nurse -- Cardiac rehab department. 8 hours per week, hours variable. Requires RN.

*Medical Technician, MT/MLT(ASCP) -- Laboratory. Full-time, rotating call, rotating weekends and holidays. Requires MT/MLT(ASCP) certification.
