Jefferson Community Health Center offers a number of job opportunities. JCHC is one of the largest employers in Jefferson County, and currently employs more than 190 people full- and part-time.

Current openings:

*Dietary Aide -- 2 part-time positions available. Hospital cart aide, 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Assembles trays based on patient diets, delivers hospital trays, maintains diet cardex for patients, handles menus for new patients, assists with cleaning and dishes, stocks area. Dining room aide -- 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sets up dining room; assists with delivery, stocking, meal preparation and serving, and dishwashing; stocks area; assembles beverages, supplements and snacks; records meal and beverage intake; assists in handling resident concerns; observant about individual needs and communicates them with dietitian. For both positions: Must be at least 16 years old, able to work weekends and holidays. Qualifications: good organization skills, good basic math skills and excellent customer service skills.
