The Bob and Wauneta Burkley Wellness Center was constructed to offer residents of the greater Jefferson County, NE and northern Kansas areas access to comprehensive wellness and fitness facilities, programs and services.

Established in 1996, the Burkley Wellness Center continues to expand and improve its offerings, in order to meet the needs of our clientele.
The Burkley Wellness Center is part of Jefferson Community Health Center.

Wide Spectrum of Services

Instructor Led Classes The Bob and Wauneta Burkley Wellness Center offers a wide spectrum of wellness and fitness services. The facility is available for use to members and guests. Memberships may be purchased monthly or annually. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Kickball Tournament coming Oct. 21

On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Burkley Wellness Center will be hosting the second annual Kickball Tournament. Last year we had more than 40 participants on four teams. The first game will start at 9 a.m. and we will plan on being done with the tournament around noon. Registration forms will be available at the Burkley Wellness Center on Monday, Sept. 18. The cost is $20 per team and the tournament will be held on the JCHC grounds. So get your team together and lets play!

Swimming lessons start Sept. 11.

Swimming lessons will again be offered at the Burkley Wellness Center beginning Monday, Sept. 11. Both group and private lessons will be offered. Registration forms and information will be available at the Burkley Wellness Center front desk starting Friday, Sept. 1. We are pleased to again be able to offer swimming lessons and we hope to accommodate as many people as possible. Group lesson space will be limited. Private lesson information is also available at the Burkley Wellness Center desk.
